Data & Data Governance - "A Farmhouse Discussion"

If there is one objective over all the others that describes why the British Farm Data Council exists is the belief that there is a great opportunity to improve trust in data across the British food & farming industry; the belief that better farm data governance can truly unleash data sharing, collaboration, and value for the industry, especially our farmers.

 

The key is therefore farmers which is why British Farm Data Council coordinator Julian Little and cameraman Rupert Harlow went to Sayers Farm near Ongar in Essex. There they met Rob Gemmill who farms there and Chris Bucknell who farms a few miles down the road. Over some excellent coffee and cake interludes, all things data were discussed.
